In delete:
* Patches from Jonathan Kamens:
- The "-f" flag to delete should suppress nonexistent file errors but
not other errors.
- When the "-v" flag is specified to expunge, the correct totals
should be reported. Previously, the totals were incorrect.
- Code cleanup.
