pssymbols \- List of symbols for ditroff in TranScript system
.SH DESCRIPTION
The following is a list of the symbols that are available in
psroff(1)
(or ditroff) in the \*(TS release.
The list gives the name of the symbol which is used in
troff,
and a short description.
If this page is printed on a \*(PS printer using
psroff,
the actual representation for the symbol is also shown.
(psroff or ditroff must be used; ptroff will not work.)
The description for each symbol is the name by which the symbol is
known in Adobe fonts.
The name can be used to find the character in font documentation for
the appropriate font(s).

Some are in each alphabetic font.
Those marked with an asterisk are constructed with \*(PS language code and
so are not 
necessarily from any font.
Characters similar to many of the fonts marked with an asterisk do appear
