#223 | fixed | Make "noarch" sysname and inform locker maintainers | broder | jdreed |
Description |
With {i386,amd64}_deb60, the sysname list is beginning to get clunky, and the presence of things like i386_linux3 in there occasionally causes users to end up with libc5 binaries which fail poorly. We should consider desupporting everything older than, say i386_linux24. (i386_linux24 was Athena 9.1, but is also the default sysname on RHEL4 and 5). |

#236 | fixed | erlang-base conflicts erlang-doc-html on jaunty | broder | broder |
Description |
erlang-base conflicts with erlang-doc-html (<< ${Upstream-Version}), even though erlang-doc-html is a completely separate source package. It's a cute trick, so long as the two packages stay in sync. Unfortunately, erlang-base was manually synced into Jaunty after the DebianImportFreeze?, and nobody thought to grab erlang-doc-html as well. This makes the two uninstallable, which means that thirdparty also won't currently install on Jaunty. I see two options:
I don't know which is more likely to happen in bounded time. In the mean time, we should make erlang-doc-html a recommendation of thirdparty-languages instead of a dependency. |

#249 | fixed | Update Debathena signing key away from 1024-bit DSA | broder | broder |
Description |
The primary Debathena archive signing key is 1024-bit DSA. According to http://www.debian-administration.org/users/dkg/weblog/48, that means that signatures are being created with SHA-1. Since SHA-1 seems likely to be pretty thoroughly compromised within the next year, we should go ahead and start the process of switching to a stronger key soon. |
