#1210 | fixed | auto-update's nologin text has no start time | kaduk
Description |
Just installed a cluster VM; alpha-linux clusterinfo caused it to take updates on first boot, but the "updates are being applied" nologin window just had the literal string (no quotes) "<start-time>" instead of an actual start time. |

#969 | fixed | auto-upgrade needs to shut down X | jdreed
Description |
AFAICT, on Lucid and higher, you cannot kexec if X is running on the current VT. If you switch to VT1, it's fine. But if on VT1, I do "sleep 5 && kexec -e" and switch back to X, I lose. This occurs even when passing "-f" and/or "--reset-vga" to the kexec -e call. It's unclear what exactly is causing this. |

Description |
If auto-upgrade bails because a workstation is in use, it shouldn't have to wait 24 hours to try again. |
