All the cool kids use barnowl these days, and nobody runs zwgc. send_message should really avoid writing to the Terminal unless $DISPLAY isn't set. It should instead communicate with the user via zenity, or possibly notify-send. notify-send would be all shiny, but libnotify-bin isn't installed by default, and (at least in Jaunty) messages behave weirdly with metacity when you mouse-over them. |

If you want to build Debathena software, go install build-depends yourself. This currently leads to stupid things like the maybe-foo packages being installed, and requires aptitude's dependency resolver to resolve the ubufox->xul-ext-ubufox transition, when that shouldn't have been necessary. |

Natty workstation pulls in hddtemp, which prompts the user during the installation as to whether it should run or not. We should consider setting 'no' via debconf, maybe? This may be relevant for cluster? |
