#316 | fixed | Check for IMAP.EXCHANGE.MIT.EDU instead of/in addition to EXCHANGE.MIT.EDU | andersk
Description |
MAIL / INBOX / imap.po10 16:18 (po10.mit.edu) You have new mail in INBOX. From: zacheiss@MIT.EDU Subject: moira commit: "moira/gen hesiod.pc mailhosts.gen" To: moira-commits@MIT.EDU debathena / moira-commits / jdreed 16:27 (This zephyr does not necessarily reflect the views of IS&T, MIT, its) and there it is debathena / moira-commits / andersk 16:30 (Anders Kaseorg) I assume that means we’ll start seeing POBOX records of POP IMAP.EXCHANGE.MIT.EDU? debathena / moira-commits / jdreed 16:30 (This zephyr does not necessarily reflect the views of IS&T, MIT, its) along with username.mail.mit.edu, yes |

#317 | fixed | All mail clients must use SSL and the appropriate authentication method when using Hesiod | jdreed
Description |
Because no one bothered to test hesiod before assuming it would work, we broke the world. We should default Pine, Evolution and other clients to using SSL, and that will ensure that both krb4 PO servers and imap.exchange work. And we should test things this time :-) |

#318 | fixed | Extend nss-nonlocal to support whitelisting nonlocal groups and grplists | andersk | andersk |
Description |
debathena / nss-nonlocal / quentin 16:56 (Quentin Smith) I need the users to have local home directories. I can't add the nonlocal groups to the local users because then remote users won't appear in the remote groups, thanks to nss_nonlocal. debathena / nss-nonlocal / andersk 17:03 (Anders Kaseorg) I can think of two improvements we might make: 1. Adding a local user to the nss-nonlocal-users group could allow them to be added to nonlocal groups. 2. We could make an nss-nonlocal-users user, such that adding it to a local group causes nonlocal users to be added to the group. |
