    1 Kilobytes, like rebooting, are obsolete. 
     1A number of queries could benefit from a "human readable" format.  For example, update-status is designed to be machine-parseable, but the information, if presented in a useful format, could be helpful to the average user.   Ditto for "df" -- while machines can trivially parse kilobytes, in this day and age "df" probably wants to be run with "-h".
