If you haven't done an apt-get update; apt-get dist-upgrade or equivalent between installing Maverick and running install-debathena.sh, ubuntu-minimal and ubuntu-desktop gets removed, because aptitude gets confused about version number discrepancies. And then all their dependencies get autoremoved. Like GNOME and GDM. This seems suboptimal. Is there any reason not to update and dist-upgrade before running the Debathena installer? |

| Description |
Users are often eager to reboot machines that don't display a login screen. The PXE installer should, after installation begins, change to another VT and throw up an message saying "This machine is being installed, please come back later". Possibly using figlet, for maximum visibility. |

| Description |
Hopefully we can increase the timeout d-i uses before it decides that it couldn't get a DHCP address. It's only about 8 seconds or so, which is not long enough on some of our ancient networks. |
