Description
Alex suggests that it has been a long time since xlock has been a legitimate way to lock the screen, and I agree with him. There is probably no particularly good reason to maintain the compatibility with it.

Our xlock is supposed to be a thin compatibility wrapper around gnome-screensaver-command (or whatever the equivalent is). I don't see any pressing reason to get rid of it. If we do, we should at least make it pop up a dialog explaining the right thing to do.
