Make debathena compatible with non-x86 Debian ports

Description

Currently we are blocking on three things I am aware of:

  1. Lack of build infrastructure to call other build servers.
  2. Some of build scripts are amd64/i386-minded.
  3. machtype is amd64/i386-minded.
  4. Not all architectures support asfd restart/unloading of AFS module. This causes many arches to panic on shutdown or when afs-config is restarted.
  5. Make sure our software packages do not depend on platform-limited stuff like flashplugin-installer.

Those are the obstacles I have encountered while building debathena-login for SPARC. There might be other issues with -workstation level and with ARM.
