= Printing = "Ha ha ha ha ha" == Pharos == All public IS&T printing is now through Pharos. Pharos works by printing to an LPD queue called either `mitprint` or `mitprint-color` (B&W and color, respectively) on the host `mitprint.mit.edu`. The username passed by lpr needs to be a valid Kerberos username. If it's not, the user won't be able to release their job. == debathena-printing-config == Sigh. == CUPS == Ubuntu's default printing subsystem is CUPS. We configure the Pharos queues on all Debathena machines using standard CUPS tools like lpadmin.
