/usr/share/xsessions/xsession.desktop was provided by gdm in Precise. In Trusty, this moved to /usr/share/gdm/greeter/applications/xsession.desktop (where it belongs), and thus got removed from the lightdm list. Putting it back makes it work, but I don't want a build-time dependency on weird versions of gdm, so if we put this back, we should add another session called "~/.xsession (Athena)" or something. |

| Description |
The debathena-phyesiodfs package for Debian (jessie is the only one I've tested) fails to configure when the fuse group does not exist. Manually creating the fuse group (groupadd, vigr, whatever) and restarting the configuration step allows configuration to proceed normally. Solution: package configuration should check the existence of the fuse group and run an appropriate groupadd command if it does not exist. |
