#1019 | fixed | Bad UI for passing jobs off to someone else | geofft
Description |
Re #1018, you can kind of do this with sudo lpr -Usomeone -Pajax. You need to do this as root because LPR dates from the days when every machine on the network was trusted and we all ran NFS. In our environment we no longer trust that. LPRng has an allow_user_setting variable, but it seems like there's no way to set this to "everyone". We should see if there is or send them a patch. Of course, this is all using LPR directly to the Pharos server, and not via CUPS, so it probably won't work anyway. |

#1175 | fixed | bash: LD_ASSUME_KERNEL: unbound variable with set -u | jweiss
Description |
The following was reported by kenta on test.dialup which recently took the latest debathena-dotfiles patch I have set -u in my .bashrc, and very recently (in the last two days?) I have begun seeing a message bash: LD_ASSUME_KERNEL: unbound variable every time I start a bash shell (including when creating a new "screen" in screen). |
